Asda Magazine has been one of the most successful retail customer magazines in the industry, reaching almost six million shoppers every month. In 2008, its publisher decided to launch the online version of the magazine to offer Asda customers another way to consume the content and increase its reach and influence.
With a team of just two, we were tasked with developing and launching the website, using recipes, features and interviews from the magazine, as well as creating bespoke online-only content, to produce a top-rating site that not only adds value to the magazine, but engages customers and boosts sales.
With the latest figures showing 126,176 monthly visits and a six-minute average read time, the site is now one of the country’s leading retail websites, and has become a vital part of Asda’s integrated marketing campaign.
