The Haymarket Portfolio is an annual 260-page showcase of every one of the company’s 150+ brands across the world. Each one of those brands requires meticulous research and detailed copywriting so that potential partners of the global publishing firm gain an immediate understanding of the brand and the values of its parent company.
As Editor of the 2012 Portfolio, our task was threefold. Firstly, we were asked to conduct a brand audit of the entire Haymarket Group, gaining a complete picture of everything the company produces, from magazines to exhibitions, websites to Twitter feeds. Then, to commission editorial content and images for every single brand, detailing its purpose, audience and achievements.
Finally, that content had to be gathered into a single, coherent publication that would be the company’s calling card and showcase, helping to develop Haymarket’s businesses worldwide and consolidate their reputation as one of the world’s most successful media companies.
